This role offers an opportunity to make a direct impact in students lives through social, emotional, and behavioral support while collaborating within a strong multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week | MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 3:30 PM

Caseload: K12 itinerant

Start Date: Current school year

Compensation: $45$47/hour (based on experience)

Contract Renewal: Renewal for the following school year based on performance and district needs
About the Role:
This position will involve serving multiple school sites, supporting students across grade levels, and collaborating with a team of professionals. The district pairs Social Workers and BCBAs into school-based teamswhichever discipline fills this role will be partnered with the other.
Daily Responsibilities:

Conduct student evaluations, observations, and assessments

Provide individual and group interventions

Attend and participate in IEP meetings

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement support strategies

Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state requirements

Support crisis intervention and connect families with community resources
State Requirements:
-
Active Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification for School Social Work

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
-
Prior experience in a school setting preferred
